In our continuing efforts to celebrate Footsteps to a Healthy Future for our students, families, and staff, the STMM PSO proudly announces our Fall 2011 fundraiser – the STMM Footsteps to a Healthy Future walkathon

Your child will have an opportunity to walk the StMM Cross Country course with their grade level and a "walking buddy" grade.  After the walk, students will celebrate our Gold Brains and Bodies Award with activities and education provided by community partners including Advocates for Health in Action, Triangle Rock Club, Carolina Railhawks, Kids In Training, Whole Foods, Western Wake Tennis, Western Wake Farmer's Market, Be Active NC, and much, much more!

Donations

Students can collect donations from parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, neighbors, friends, and co-workers. There are two simple ways to donate:

• A Check made out to StMM PSO
• On the StMM PSO Website by clicking the above "Donate Now" button.  In order for your child to get credit for their donation, make sure they type in the student's name in the "Honor of" box at the bottom of the page.  (Please note this says "optional" but is necessary in order for your child to earn raffle tickets)
